Big Diary Go Strongly Against Alternative Milk

“Real milk comes from cows” states the new ad campaign from Big Diary against artificial milk companies. The ad outlines ingredients like carrageenan; a seaweed extract, carob bean gum, guar gum, xanthan gum and the difference in color to show how terrible non-diary milk is for consumers. In reality, most of the milk in US stores are tainted with secret ingredients that are not on their nutritional labels and the ‘unhappy’ cows are genetically engineered to produce triple the normal amount of milk per day by pumping them with antibiotics and growth hormones. This has led to weakened and disease-prone cows and worries of antibiotic resistance in humans as studies have linked bovine growth hormones in cows to cancers in humans. Health problems like osteoporosis, high fat content, lactose intolerance and pesticide contaminants are also associated with the use of artificial milk. Even the FDA is worried that there might be illegal levels of antibiotics in our milk.
