The American Academy of Pediatrics has released a report claiming that organic foods are good for children. Opinions on the affect of organic foods on children's health have always been contradicting. However, American Academy of Pediatrics conducted an extensive study on this subject to find scientific evidence. The study was carried out for crop yields, dairy products and meats. It concluded that though the amount of nutrients in GM foods and conventionally grown eatables are the same, the pesticide levels in them differ. Organic foods which do not contain pesticides are safer for kids. Even GMO foods were barred by the study as it was found that a diet high in such foods would expose children to pesticides.
