Tara Cook-Littman from Hartford started fighting for Genetically Modified foods to be labelled when she and her son started developing serious health problems. She joined a rally with many of her supporters and marched towards the legislative office in Hartford. Their argument states that consumers can make a better choice only when they are well informed. Thus they want to be informed about the modified foods so that they can differentiate among the options available and choose the best. The first in the state food bill might be passed when the house begins its new session next year but nothing has been finalised yet.
