The scales on Proposition 37 keep tipping as the polls close in. A recent survey revealed that the say yes side might be losing out. The survey which was conducted by California Business Roundtable and Pepperdine University School of Public Policy has come out with numbers which say that about 50% people are opposing labeling of GM foods. This number could be the result of the No on 37 campaigns which being funded by junk food companies and pesticide firms who have spent a $40 million strong figure on rolling it out. The average Californians who are backing prop 37 cannot compete with this figure. So, to race with the opposite side, a lot of publicity campaigns have been implemented such as the Los Angeles City Council's resolution, celebrity chefs uniting under their leader Alice Waters and videos featuring celebrities like Jillian Michaels, Danny Devito and Dave Matthews who are giving a thumbs up to prop 37.
